On March 27, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act became law. It expands the SBA’s Section 7(a) Business Loan Program, which is its primary program for providing financial assistance to small businesses, to include a special type of loan for eligible businesses harmed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
